Resort Rules

We are very proud of our resort and ask that you please follow our guidelines:

CHECK-IN TIME:  12:00 PM (Noon). We strongly discourage checking in after dark for liability reasons.

CHECK-OUT TIME:  11:00 AM. NO CREDITS, NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURE.

SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH within RMR

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

PETS: We love pets and want to continue to allow them at RMR. With that in mind, please adhere to the following rules: Pets are to be leashed and controlled at all times. Do not leave your pet tied up and unattended at any time. A single temporary pen that is no larger than 6’x 6’ is allowed. Please help your pet stay away from all occupied sites. Do not allow your pet to urinate on any power pedestals, buildings or any structure, furniture and all other personal property inside or outside RMR. There is a 3 pet maximum per site. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their own pets!

RESERVATIONS: Please confirm space availability if you wish to stay extra days. No refunds or credits given for early departures.

OPEN FIRES: We live in a wilderness area and Lincoln County fire restrictions are always in place. Fires are allowed in RMR fire pits ONLY. No charcoal or wood grills/smokers are allowed.

PARKING: Parking is allowed in designated areas only. Do not block driveways. Do not park on the grass, in the fire lanes or in any area other than your assigned parking space. Do not park in unoccupied spaces.

LAUNDRY & RESTROOMS: Open 24 hours a day, except for cleaning. Dishwashing is not permitted in the restroom facilities. Children are to be accompanied at all times. We keep our restrooms clean – please do your part to keep them that way. Let us know if they require attention. NO WASHING OF PETS OR PET BLANKETS IN LAUNDRY OR RESTROOM AND NO CLOTHESLINES OR RACKS OUTSIDE AT YOUR SITE.

VEHICLE & RV WASHING: Vehicle and RV washing is strictly prohibited at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch.

BOULDERS/FIRE PITS: Do not place barbecue grills or citronella candles on RMR fire pits or boulders. Guests will be responsible for damage. DO NOT MOVE ROCKS, FIRE PITS OR FURNITURE. Do not use firepits for cooking. DO NOT USE FIREPITS AS AN ASH TRAY.

GARBAGE & TRASH: Please keep a clean campsite. Curbside pick-up is provided at RMR. Trash must be placed in plastic bags and tied securely. Place trash in front of your site for pick-up by 10:00 AM daily. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE TRASH OUTSIDE OVER-NIGHT. PLEASE DO NOT LITTER.

GUESTS: Our rates are based on double occupancy and all additional guests are $20 each per night, regardless of age. Our maximum group size per site is six guests.

MINORS: All guests, including minors, are expected to follow our result rules and guidelines. Any guests, regardless of age, who do not respect the quiet hours or are deemed to be disruptive to other guests, will be asked to leave.
Please note: We only permit guests age 12 and older. We do not permit guests under age 12.

PLEASE BE SAFETY CONSCIOUS: We are not responsible for loss or injury from fire, floods, theft, wildlife (including snakes), falling trees or electrical failures. You are staying in the beauty of nature, please be aware of your surroundings as footing can be uneven, and RMR is not responsible for personal injury. Observing these few simple guidelines will make your stay a pleasant one.

GUIDELINES FOR MOTORCYCLE RIDERS: To ensure that the rights and expectations of our guests who enjoy the RV lifestyle in other ways are respected, we established the following guidelines for motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, etc. Or, simply stated, if it has wheels and a motor and you can sit on it, then these guidelines apply!

  • Park only on your site. Visitors to your site are not to park on the street vacant sites or other landscaped areas.
  • Ride from your site directly out of RMR to Airport Road. Always observe the speed limit, which means at idle without intermittent racing or “burping” the engine. Excessive noise or speed will not be tolerated.
  • Groups, please assemble at the main gate and not at the site of a member of the group.

SEWERS: Air and watertight connections are required at each end of the sewer hose.

LAWN DECORATIONS: Lawn decorations are not permitted. No steps, ramps, temporary pens or fences will be allowed. All personal items must be stored within your coach – nothing will be allowed to be stored beneath your coach.

REQUESTS: We can often accommodate special requests and will do our very best. However, you are guaranteed a reservation but not always a particular site number. Due to the smaller size of our resort, we may have to shift reservations to accommodate other guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Be sure to reference your name as well as Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch. Mail and packages will be left in the laundry room. If your mail or packages arrive after your departure, they will be returned to the original shipper.  We will not forward to an additional address.
